Below are our full legal terms, much of which is legal jargon strictly required of us to have available, but here you will find a quick summary in plain English terms so you can better understand our stance on privacy.
We don't want to store stuff, and only do if we really need it. The stuff we do really need will never be used to sell you stuff, market stuff to you, influence your ads, or personally identify you. If this still freaks you out, email us and we'll delete your stuff (email@example.com)
Wobbl Apps Limited (a limited company incorporated in New Zealand) (Wobbl) operates www.wobbl.co.nz and www.wobbl.io (Websites) as well as the mobile applications that Wobbl makes available from time to time (Applications). Together, the Websites and the Applications provide Wobbl’s social service (Service).
This page is used to inform you of Wobbl’s policies relating to the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service. When we talk about Personal Information, we mean information relating to you or other identifiable individuals.
For a better experience while using our Service, we may receive certain Personal Information from Social Media Platforms, including but not limited to your name, phone number and/or email address. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you. Wobbl is the data controller in respect of this Personal Information.
We do not process Personal Information on behalf of our customers as all information provided to Wobbl through the Service (including, for example, the information you may monitor or view from Social Media Platforms) (Viewed Content) is processed by the relevant Social Media Platform. Accordingly, Wobbl is not the data processor in relation to your Personal Information or Viewed Content. If you require your Personal Information to be erased or altered, you will need to contact the relevant Social Media Platform.
Wobbl cannot take responsibility for the content or privacy policies of any Social Media Platforms or Third-Party Apps. Please ensure you read and understand the privacy policies of any Social Media Platform or Third-Party App accessed by you via the Services.
Wobbl uses your Personal Information for the following general purposes:
We also use non-identifiable information gathered for statistical purposes to keep track of the number of visits to the Service with a view to introducing improvements and improving usability of the Service. We may share this type of anonymised statistical data so that our partners also understand how often people use the Service, so that they, too, may provide you with an optimal experience.
We may use your Personal Information, either individually, in the aggregate, and/or combined with demographic information that we maintain or collect from third parties for marketing and advertising purposes. However, such information will always be displayed in an anonymised way so that you personally cannot be identified.
We may disclose anonymised information to companies affiliated with Wobbl and/or unaffiliated third parties (i) to provide the products and services you have requested; and (ii) for administrative, analytical, and marketing purposes.
In addition, from time to time, we may share information with certain third-party companies with which Wobbl has a business relationship. These companies may send you offers based on the information you have provided us. Where we are required by applicable law, we will seek your consent prior to sharing your personal information with such third parties for marketing purposes. Also, you can opt out of having your information shared with third parties for those parties' direct marketing purposes by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wobbl is a New Zealand company with its head-office located in Auckland, New Zealand. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), New Zealand is considered a country which provides adequate protections for Personal Information, as confirmed by the European Commission in Commission Decision 2013/65/EU.
The Services are mainly provided from our offices in New Zealand. However, by the very nature of the Service, the data that is viewed by you through the Service also needs to flow from where the relevant Social Media Platform stores the data (i.e. in most cases, in the United States) to wherever you are located in the world. In addition, Wobbl uses third-party service providers (such as managed hosting providers, card processors, CRM systems, and technology partners) to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage and other services that we use to operate the Service.
By using the Service or submitting any Personal Information to Wobbl via the Service, you consent to Wobbl and its authorized service partners using your Personal Information in these countries in order to make the Service available to you. Please be aware that the privacy protections and the rights of authorities and government agencies to access your Personal Information in some of these countries may not be equivalent to those in your country.
Wobbl has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at email@example.com.
You may opt out of marketing communications sent by Wobbl by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each marketing email or contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can contact us to obtain a copy of the Personal Information held about you by Wobbl. This may be subject to a fee not exceeding any prescribed fee permitted by applicable law. Wobbl is not able to correct or, where relevant, erase that Personal Information as that information is a copy of the Personal Information held by the relevant Social Media Platform you used to initially create your Wobbl account. In order to correct or erase such Personal Information, you will need to contact the relevant Social Media Platform. Please note that certain Personal Information may need to be retained by Wobbl for a period of time following cancellation of your account where this is necessary for our legitimate business purposes or required or authorized by applicable law.

This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser version, pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
